Quick update!
Will be somewhat off-radar for a couple of weeks as I'm serving my duty as a reservist in the Army. OTL
Nothing major really, just some refresher courses and exercises. The only really bad thing was having to cut my hair T_T. I feel uncomfortable with short hair orz
And for those who are interested, I'm a combat medic attached to a support hospital unit... and that's probably about all I can say LOL. The Army prefers us to be hush-hush about these kinda things.
Rather excited for our Friday activity. We'll be firing live weapons! 8DDDD

AFA 2011 / Reflections
Shall start off with my thoughts on Anime Festival Asia since it's currently at the tippy top of my chain of thoughts right now.
We weren't cosplaying on day 1, so we headed down late noon just to check the event out.
To sum up AFA 2011 in a word is pretty simple really.

It's similar to the crowds you get when you attempt to transit by train in the early morning stampedes, but it's made even worse by the fact that instead of being jammed up against (mostly) businessmen and office workers who generally smell clean and look clean, you get creepy otakus who smell of sweat with their massive backpacks and clutching onto their massive
